MICAT 2021 Exam Duration Reduced by 30 Minutes, No. of Questions Likely to Go Down
Applications for the flagship PGDM-C/PGDM courses of MICAT Ahmedabad is currently open. Students will now have to prepare themselves as per the updated exam pattern of MICAT 2021.
MICA Ahmedabad has reduced the exam duration for MICAT 2021. MICAT 2021 will now be 30 minutes shorted and will be conducted in 2 hours 15 minutes instead of its usual time duration of 2 hours 45 minutes. MICAT is the annual entrance exam for MICA Ahmedabad. It is conducted in two stages with MICAT 2021 to be conducted on December 5, 2020 while MICAT II scheduled for January 30, 2021.
The reduction in the duration of MICAT has been done as the number of questions in the exam will also be reduced. However, the number of section in the exam will remain the same and all 4 sections -- Psychometric Tets, Descriptive Test and all of the 4 sub-sections in Section C will be a part of the test.
Prof. Ruchi Tewari, the Chair of Admissions at MICA Ahmedabad confirmed that the institute has been considering this move for some time and has finally taken a call on the same.
The institute, however, has not shared any information about what will be the new number of questions in the exam. What will be the sectional time durations of MICAT 2021 is also yet to be confirmed by the institute. The MICAT exam pattern will be updated as more information about the same is released by the institute.
