In the question paper of Andhra Pradesh Intermediate, Public Exams that started on 2-March-2016 lots of mistakes has come to light.
On the first day, there were repeated questions in Sanskrit Paper. Students were confused after reading the question paper. In the same way, students who were attending Telugu examination on the same day too faced the problem as the 3 questions were given from the old syllabus. Students those who are attending Hindi exam on the same day also faced few problems as there were spelling mistakes.
Numerous mistakes in the question paper had confused the students. Mistakes were repeated again in English question paper. English examination for first-year intermediate students was held on 4-March-2016. There were more than 5 mistakes in the question paper.
The following are the mistakes that were found in English question paper;
- The word desecrating was printed as decorating in Section-A, Question-d. It is given for 1 Mark
- In Section-B, the antonym of the word is Modern is not given in Paragraph but the question was "Find out the word in the passage which is the antonym of Modern". It is given for 1 Mark
- In Section-C, 17th question Bar diagram was given but questions were not printed under the Bar Graph. The weight of this question is 5 Marks!!
- There were also some spelling mistakes in the question paper.
Students and Parents demanded the board to add these 7 marks during evaluation as the mistake was from Board side.
