Mizoram Class 10 & Class 12 Board Exams 2018 Schedule Released
- The Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in Mizoram will begin in the first week of March 2018.
- Moderation policy for 2018 board exams has also been released by the Mizoram Board.
MBSE, also known as Mizoram Board of Secondary Education has released the schedule for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams 2018. The Class 10 Board Exams 2018 are scheduled to begin from March 1, 2018, while the Class 12 Board Exams 2018 will begin from March 5, 2018. The board also clarified that the CBSE students in the state will have to wait until January 2018 for the board exam timetable.
MBSE has uploaded the timetable for Class 10 and Class 12 exams on its official website, and a copy of date sheet was sent to all the schools affiliated to MBSE. The authorities of MBSE directed the affiliated schools to display the timetable of Class 10 and Class 12 exams on the notice boards.

For the year 2018, practical exams for Class 10 students will begin after the completion of theory examinations. On the other hand, practical exams for Class 12 students will begin before the commencement of theory examinations. The theory exams for Class 10 and Class 12 will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM while the practical exams will be held from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Students will have to appear for the practical exams based on the time prescribed to them by the board between 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

MBSE Moderation Policy for Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams 2018: -
- The evaluators can add up to 2 marks in a particular subject to make a student pass that subject.
- The evaluators will have the provision to add up to 4 marks in an additional subject to make the student pass the subject.
- If a student fails in one subject, the board will add grace mark(s) to make the score 33%.
- If a student fails in two subjects, the board will distribute the grace mark(s) between the two subjects to make their scores 33% respectively.
