Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to address an All India Conference of School Principals organised by Vidya Bharati, an organisation affiliated to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on February 12.
According to IANS, Vidya Bharti's national secretary Shiv Kumar while addressing the media, said the main purpose of the conference, being held from February 11 to 14, is to discuss the role of school principals to "develop a society wherein children grow up to be ideal citizens on the basis of their grooming in schools."
He said principals of more than 1,300 senior secondary schools of Vidya Bharti are expected to participate in the conference.
Lalit Bihari Goswami, Vidya Bharti's general secretary said that the mission of the organisation was the development of a national education system, which would help the students grow up into patriotic and well-rounded personalities.
Goswami further said that the young generation should be committed to creating a society that is free from prejudice, injustice and exploitation.
