It was in 2011 when two staffers of the university were arrested for taking out the answer sheets of PG engineering students and bringing it back. Similarly, in May 2016 eight university officials were arrested by Bhandup police for allegedly tampering with answer sheets.
Sharing the information, M A Khan, Registrar of the University said that at present the plan has been stalled. This is because the new building which is supposed to house the exam section of the university has not been completely constructed yet. On the other hand, it will roughly take them three more months to install the new equipment in the existing compound. And by that time the new building will also be fully functional. If that happens the equipment will have to be reinstalled all over again.
