Mumbai University Declares B.Com 5th and 6th Semester Results

Mumbai University has declared the long awaited final year B.Com 5^th and 6th-semester results. Around 80,000 students had been waiting for results for the past two months. The official declaration has brought a great sigh of relief to Commerce stream students now. The final year B.Com results are available on the official website of the University of Mumbai. However, the website is currently down and it is advisable that the candidates wait patiently to check the results.

According to sources, the overall pass percentage for final year B.Com 5^th and the 6^th semester is 62%. The students who have successfully passed B.Com can apply for further studies based on their merit. Earlier, it was reported that a majority of students could not opt for higher education due to the lack of UG mark sheet.

The University of Mumbai has so far declared 432 results out of the 477 results. About 45 results are still remaining for the current academic year. A week back, the varsity had also announced final year B.A and final year B.Sc programme results.

The updates regarding the continuous delay in the announcement of MU results have been surfacing for a long while now. It has also violated various deadlines. Many petitions were also filed in the High Court of Bombay against the ‘On Screen’ evaluation and assessment system adopted by the University of Mumbai. The state government of Maharashtra also intervened and directed the university to take steps for the faster declaration of results. The varsity also cancelled leaves for all the staff who are involved in the evaluation process.
