Mumbai University Announces Semester Exams April 2018 Schedule

Mumbai University has released the schedule of semester-end exams that will be conducted in April 2018. However, students will have to wait few more days for the complete schedule of semester exams. Board of Examinations (BoE) has finalised the commencement dates of semester exams for various courses.

Even though the varsity is clear with exam schedule and ‘On Screen Marking’ system, many college principals pointed that the varsity lacked proper planning, and decided the exam dates without holding proper consultations.

The schedule finalised by the varsity is packed, and it will create an unnecessary burden on teachers who are engaged in the evaluation of answer sheets. TYB is considered to be taken by the largest number of students (approximately 80,000). These exams will begin on April 03, 2018, and will continue until the second week of April. Immediately, the exams for first-year students will begin, and evaluators will have to sacrifice their summer vacation for evaluating the answer sheets.

The On-Screen Assessment process is expected to begin in May as per the exam schedule released by Mumbai University.
