NAAC visit at Marwari College - Darbhanga

T.T. Rao,the chairman of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) team & the former VC of the Osmania University, on 6th April 2016 advised the teachers of Marwari College to stress more on research. Mr. Rao also inspected the college & pointed out the loop-holes in the research facilities.
The college was visited by the NAAC team on 6th of April, 2016 as a routine visit. The NAAC peer team had suggested the college with some changes in the way the college has been functioning apart from recommending some improvements in the field of teaching, emphasizing especially on the research part of the education.
The college is located at a location called Gangasagar that is situated in the western Darbhanga, in the state of Bihar. Affiliated to the Lalit Narayan Mishra (LN Mishra) university, the college is one of the prominent colleges of Darbhanga district.
The college right now is situated in Bharti Mandan Bhavan i.e situated in the placed called Ganga Sagar of Darbhanga, where the college shifted in the year 1961.
The college got affiliation from the Lalit Narayan Mishra University (LNMU) in the year 1976. The college had since been providing the students of Darbhanga with a quality education.
