Nagpur University and its affiliated colleges made students run from pillar to post for collecting their hall tickets, just a day before their examinations which commenced on March 28, 2016. In fact, some students were hovering around NU's Exam Section from 7 am on Monday for hall tickets even as the first paper was scheduled to start at 9.30am.
The main phase of NU exams commenced on Monday in which, over 1.39 lakh students are set to appear in B.A, B.Com and BCCA first and final year from across 170 centres. NU officials passed the buck on colleges for not taking up the responsibility of their students and sending them directly to university's office. Barring a few exceptions like Dr. Ambedkar College which was fined by the NU, the university's top brass has hardly taken strict action against any colleges, majority of which are controlled by local politicians and businessmen, for diverting students to NU offices directly.
Student due to this mismanagement faced lots of problems reaching the exam centre and appearing for their exams.
