The Nano technology Department of Acharya Nagarjuna University organized a two day national seminar on “characterization techniques of Materials”. The seminar was inaugurated on 28-March-2016. The seminar was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of university, Dr.Rajendra Prasad.
Addressing the students, Vice Chancellor said, “Nano-Technology is the apt field for research and analysis. There is a lot scope for new inventions and research in Nano advised technology.” He advised the students to make inventions which are useful to the society.
The key speaker of the seminar was Dr.CH.Subramanyam, Assistant Professor, IIT, Hyderabad. He presented his paper on “Florences Science and Phosphor Science”. Acharya k.Ramji, professor, Andhra University presented his on “Importance of Nano materials and observation of Nano materials through micro-scope”.
Around 40 professors and research scholars from various universities attended the seminar to present their papers on the theme of the seminar. The second day of the seminar also continued with technical sessions where students also presented power point presentation on the theme of the seminar.
The seminar was attended by research scholars, eminent professors, faculty, students, print and electronic media.
