NEW DELHI: National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is a national level, which will be held by the Council of Architecture (CoA) in three different phases for the current academic year. As per the exam dates, NATA exam 2022 Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3 are scheduled to be conducted on May 23, 2022, June 20 and July 11, 2022. The mode of the NATA 2022 exam is online (computer-based test). Before the candidates appear for the NATA exam, they should have detailed knowledge about the overall paper pattern and basic structural outline related to the national level exam.

Pointers for assessment in NATA 2022
As per the official information brochure released by CoA for NATA exam, the students will be assessed using some of the following techniques:
- Numerical Reasoning: Tests the Mathematical Ability through simple problems
- Inductive Reasoning: Tests the ability to check patterns and analyze given data
- Logical Reasoning: Tests the ability to recognize the patterns, relationships or sequences between imagery and shapes
- Diagrammatic Reasoning: Tests the ability of logical reasoning, with the help of diagrams and scenarios.
- Verbal Reasoning: Tests the ability of assessing verbal logic
- Situational Judgment: Assess the problem solving ability
- Abstract Reasoning: Tests General Knowledge and ability of utilizing the knowledge in new situations
NATA exam pattern 2022: Marking scheme
The candidates have to answer 125 questions of total 200 marks. No negative marking is there for every incorrect answer. Only if a tie breaking case will occur, then the incorrect answers will be penalized.
