National Law University, Jodhpur to Partner with UNCTAD at Research Partnership Platform
Through this, various universities, institutions and competition authorities will come under one roof to undertake joint research and deliberations on the issues related to challenges in competition law and policy.
The officials of the National Law University, Jodhpur mentioned in a press statement that the Centre for Competition Law and Policy of the University achieved the recognition of India’s first competition law research centre to partner with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) at its Research Partnership Platform (RPP). The Registrar of the University,Mr. Sohan Lal Sharma said that NUL is the first University in India to receive this recognition.

He mentioned that the centre takes up research oriented activities on various aspects of competition law and policy at national and international levels. The centre also organises numerous guest lectures by inviting resource persons.

Deppankar Sharma, Coordinator of Centre for Competiton Law, said that UNCTAD deals with issues related to competition law and policy on an international platform. He mentioned that the University had taken a unique initiative to partner with UNCTAD. Through this, various universities, institutions and competition authorities will come under one roof to undertake joint research and deliberations on the issues related to challenges in competition law and policy.
