Lucknow University will hold a National Training Programme(NTP) on the topic of ‘Conducting Research in Biodiversity and Wildlife’ at the Zoology department, under the support of the department of Science and Technology from May 25-30.

According to Associate Professor, LU, Amita Kannaujia, "the training programme primarily for research scholars would be addressed by prominent butterfly expert from the Butterfly Park, Bhimtaal, Peter Smetacek, along with other experts." The training course will include topics like ‘Recent Developments in Biodiversity’ and ‘Wildlife Research and Effective Methodology’ to study wildlife and habitats with special reference to GIS mapping.
