NCWEB of DU Gets 5,700 Seats

NCWEB i.e. Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board of theUniversity of Delhi has added 5,700 seats from this academic year i.e. 2016.
The board offers courses solely for women and currently has 6000 seats in 13 colleges of Delhi University. Now, the number has increased to 25, they have 25 colleges as their centres now.
Following is the list of centres added to the list recently:
- Aryabhatta College
- Bhagini Nivedita College
- Keshav Mahavidyalaya
- Motilal Nehru College
- Ramanujan College
- Aditi Mahavidyalaya College
- B R Ambedkar College
- College of Vocational Studies
- Miranda House
- Rajdhani College
- Aurobindo College
The women’s board conduct classes only on Sundays, girl students from Delhi-NCR can register themselves and get admission.
“NCWEB only offers two undergraduate courses and is preferred by students who want to go for professional courses such as diploma while pursuing an undergraduate degree to become more employable by the end of three years,” said Anju Gupta, Officiating Director NCWEB.
The board will announce its first cut off on 15th July’ 16 and the second cutoff will be declared on 20th July’ 16.
NCWEB offers following two courses at UG level:
- B.Com
- BA (programme)
Admission procedure of the board is same as DU.
