NEET 2022 Dress Code- Customary Dress

It is permissible for candidates following a certain religion to appear for NEET 2022 in their customary dress. Sikh candidates are permitted to carry their traditional kangha, Kara, and Kirpan with them according to an order of the Delhi High Court. Female candidates can also wear burkha. The authorities will consider these items to be part of the customary dress.

As part of the NEET application form 2022, candidates will be asked if they wish to wear the customary dress that contradicts the dress code for NEET 2022. It is necessary for them to indicate here that they wish to wear a customary dress. Nevertheless, it is imperative that candidates report at least an hour before the reported reporting time in order to aid in the smooth conduct of the security checks by the exam conducting authority. To avoid allegations of 'unfair means' or misconduct, candidates should follow the NEET dress code carefully.
