NEET PG 2017 Postponed to Dec 16 at Chennai; Applicants to get New Admit Cards

Another essential information that has been passed on by the NBE is that candidates who will be appearing for the exam in Chennai on the rescheduled date will have to download their revised admit card. The new admit cards will be provided on the candidate’s exam profile and can be downloaded by logging in.
The NBE has released a notification regarding the same to inform students about the development. According to the notification, NEET PG 2017 will be held on December 16, 2016, during the AM session.
The notification stated that NEET-PG has been postponed due to the extreme weather conditions. It also mentioned that students will be able to download the new admit cards after December 14, 2016, by logging into their accounts. The afternoon session of the exam at Chennai was rescheduled because the city was hit by cyclone Vardah.

NEET PG was started to follow single entrance examination practice for admissions to courses like MD, MS and PG diploma. The exam was scheduled from December 5 to 13, 2016 and was conducted successfully across all states in India apart from Chennai. NEET PG has replaced the AIPGMEE exam from 2016 and will be the only exam basis which admission to the above-mentioned courses will be done.
