Instructions to Follow for NEET PG 2021 Reporting Process
Once the Seat Allotment Result for Round 1 is out, you can choose any of the following based on your preference:
Institute Reporting:
If you are satisfied with your allocation then begin your college reporting process within the stipulated time. The deadline to report at the allotted institute will be provided by the conducting authority.
If you are not satisfied with your allocation and would like to get a different seat in the next round, you can either opt for the "Seat Upgradation" or "Free Exit" option.
If for any reason, you fail to complete your reporting process for Round 1 before the deadline, MCC will have the authority to cancel your allocation.
Seat Upgradation:
By opting for "Seat Upgradation", you will be considered for Round 2 seat allotment while retaining your Round 1 allocation.
If you opted for Seat Upgradation but could not receive the desired seat then your allocation from the previous round will be retained and then you can proceed with the college reporting.
To use the Seat Upgraduation option, you will have to join the Round 1 seat and give willingness for Up-gradation at the allocated college.
Free Exit:
By opting for "Free Exit" you can directly participate in the Round 2 allotment.
However, opting for this option would mean that your Round 1 allocation will be cancelled.
To use this option, you may not join the Round 1 seat and rather, do choice filling for the next round.
You must know that once you opt for this option, you cannot claim back your Round 1 seat allotment in any circumstances.
