NEET PG Result 2024 Controversy 27 September SC Hearing: The Supreme Court issued a notice in response to a petition seeking transparency in the NEET PG 2024 result. The Court expressed dissatisfaction with last-minute changes to the exam pattern and the matter will be heard on September 27. Senior Advocate Vibha Makhija criticized the new marks normalization policy introduced just three days before the exam, describing it as a "knee-jerk reaction". The Chief Justice of India questioned the last-minute modifications to the exam pattern.

The NBE's counsel insists no unusual changes were made, but the CJI disagrees, expressing concern about potential disruptions for students. The bench, led by CJI DY Chandrachud, issued a notice in the case and directed the NBE and the Union to respond within a week. Some NEET PG candidates are disputing their results, claiming discrepancies and urging the release of raw and normalized marks for transparency. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 examination was conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) at 416 centres spread across 170 cities.
