NEET PG Seat Allotment 2022 Instructions
Important instructions for NEET PG seat allotment are as listed below:
The seat allocation will be made as per the choices entered by the candidates by adhering to their merit ranks as assigned by NBE.
If the candidates who were allotted a seat earlier in the first round of counselling but opted for higher options have been allotted a new seat, then their earlier round 1 seat allotment will automatically be cancelled.
All such candidates and newly allotted candidates must report at their allotted institute to take admission. If a candidate does not report physically then their allotted seat will be cancelled.
While the seat cancellation after not reporting at the allotted institute was a ‘Free Exit’ in Round 1, the same is not applicable for Round 2. If a candidate does not join the allotted seat, then their Security Deposit Fee will not be refunded.
The candidates who join a seat in Round 2 are henceforth ineligible for participation in further counselling rounds i.e., mop-up and stray vacancy.
The candidates who have joined their respective colleges in Round 2 through the state quota too are ineligible for further MCC counselling rounds.
The candidates whose seat was not upgraded in Round 2 and those who have already reported at the allotted institute in Round 1 will retain their seat as per their earlier allocation.
The dates to report at the allotted institute for Round 2 are from October 20 to 26, during working hours only.
