NEET-UG 2017: DMER Maharashtra to Release Allotment List for Mop Up Round Today
- Mop Up round is the last phase of admission process for medical courses after which DMER Maharashtra will not conduct any subsequent rounds of counselling.
- Candidates who secure seats must report to college on or before August 31, 2017.
DMER, also known as Directorate of Medical Education and Research will declare the NEET-UG 2017 seat allotment list for Mop Up round on August 28, 2017. Only those candidates who failed to secure admission in the previous rounds are eligible for the allotment in this round. Similarly, the candidates who secured admission in the previous round and failed to submit the Retention Form within the stipulated date are eligible for the allotment in this round. The admission of these candidates will only be confirmed after the submission of Retention Form. All the candidates who secure admission in the Mop Up round must report to the allotted college on or before August 31, 2017. The admission of the candidates will be cancelled if they do not report to allotted college by 3:00 PM on August 31.

The following candidates are not eligible for the allotment in this round: -
- Those candidates who failed to join the course after securing admission in the previous rounds.
- Those candidates who cancelled or resigned from the admission after securing a seat in the previous rounds.
- Candidates who secured a seat in previous rounds and joined the course and filled the Status Retention Form.

Mop Up round is the last round for the admission to medical courses in Maharashtra after which no subsequent rounds of counselling will be conducted further. Therefore, all the candidates who secure a seat in this round must join the college by August 31, 2017. Candidates who fail to join college after the seat allotment must pay a penalty of Rs. 10,00,000 prescribed by DMER Maharashtra.
