NEET UG 2024 Application Form to be released anytime soon

NEET UG 2024 Application Form: The National Testing Agency will release the NEET UG application form 2024 anytime soon, tentatively in the third or fourth week of January 2024 on the official website- neet.nta.nic.in. Considering the previous years’ trends, the NEET UG registration process starts usually 2 to 3 months before the scheduled exam date. The NEET UG 2024 exam will be held on May 5, 2024. The authority will publish the information brochure along with it. It can be assumed that the NEET UG application form fill-up process will be continued for two months. Before participating in the NEET UG application form fill-up process, the candidates should check the eligibility criteria, which will be available in the information brochure. 

Gap between NEET UG Registration and Examination Date: Previous years Trends

The analysis will be helpful to find out the tentative date of releasing the application form before the exam date.

This time, the authority has confirmed that the NEET UG application form will be available online by January, however, NTA has not yet declared the official date of the commencement of the registration process. During the post-pandemic period, the authority took time to release the NEET UG application form. However, this year the pattern of starting the registration will be followed as the pre-pandemic era. Hence, NTA has released the JEE Main session 1 application form fill-up process in November 2023. For the same, the candidates should frequently check the official website of NTA. 

NEET UG 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Before releasing the information brochure, the candidates can refer to the NEET UG eligibility criteria, which have been highlighted based on the previous year.

• Candidates, who have completed 17 years as of December 31, 2024, are eligible to appear for the exam. No upper age limit is applicable to apply for the exam
• Students, who have passed class 10+2 or equivalent exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Biotechnology and get 50% in aggregate (40% for reserved category), are eligible to fill out the NEET UG application form and participate in the exam
