NEET-UG Mandatory for Forestry, Agriculture and Other Related Courses in Kerala
NEET-UG will now be mandatory for medical as well as allied fields of study. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerela confirmed the list of UG medical and allied courses that come under the ambit of NEET-UG.
Students who are planning to apply for medical and allied courses in Kerala will be required to clear the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-NEET. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala confirmed the list of medical and allied courses that come under the ambit of NEET-UG.
Candidates who are planning to study courses such as B.Sc Agriculture, Bachelor of Fisheries Sciences, B.Sc Forestry etc will be required to clear the NEET exam. According to the official notification of CEE Kerala, the admission to the respective programmes will be on the basis of the NEET-UG rank.

The new admission criteria for the respective courses will be implemented in the coming academic year (NEET-UG 2019). Apart from this, the admission to the AYUSH courses in Kerala will also be on the basis of state’s NEET rank list.

Admission to the medical and dental colleges across the country is on the basis of NEET exam score. Also, the seats reserved under NRI quota will also be filled on the basis of NEET 2019 result only.
NEET is one of the most popular medical examinations in the country which is conducted for medical (MBBS) and dental courses (BDS). Once the exam is conducted, the rank list is prepared as per the regulations of the Medical Council of India (MCI), and candidates are allotted seats on the basis of the same list. From next year (2019), NEET entrance examination will be conducted by NTA. The official notification for NEET 2019 has been released, and November 30, 2018, is the deadline to submit the online application form.
