NID Design Aptitude Test 2022 Mains (NID DAT 2022) will be conducted in the third week of June by the National Institute of Design. NID has released the official press note, regarding the NID DAT 2022 Mains examination. The official notice has confirmed that due to the prevailing conditions of COVID-19, the Mains examination of NID DAT 2022 will be conducted in the HYBRID mode.

Candidates, who are qualified in NID DAT 2022 prelims, are eligible to appear for the NID DAT Mains examination. The Mains examination of NID DAT 2022 is known Studio Test. National Institute of Design will conduct Studio Test in various cities in our country. The details of Test Centres will soon be released on the official portal of NID.

The DAT Mains examination will consist of a Studio Test and Personal Interview. According to the official information, Studio Test will be conducted in offline mode at NID campuses and the interviews will be held over the online mode.

The students who have been shortlisted for DAT Mains 2022 should upload a statement of purpose (SoP) and portfolio. According to the guidelines released by NID, the statement of purpose should contain a maximum of 100 words for each question. And it should be uploaded as an individual PDF file that should not exceed 2MB. The selected and shortlisted candidates must also upload their digital copy of the portfolio as a single PDF file, which should not exceed 10 MB.

The candidates should upload a Statement of Purpose and Portfolio within the stipulated time and the same thing will be informed to the candidates either through Email ID or through the official website.

Candidates are advised to check the official portal of NID and their mail IDs regularly for the latest updates.
