TCS Leads in NID Placement Drive, Makes 39 Offers
Tata Consultancy Services was the leading recruiter with 39 offers during the placement drive at different campuses of the NID. The placement drive took place at three different campuses of NIT at Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru.
Tata Consultancy Services was the leading recruiter with 39 offers during the placement drive at different campuses of the National Institute of Design. TCS made offers to both undergraduate and postgraduate students of NID.
According to the placement report, there were around 100 companies that visited different NID campuses at Gandhinagar, Ahemadabad, and Bengaluru for campus placement. 391 students at the undergraduate level and 20 at the postgraduate level participated in the NID placement drive 50% of the companies that participated in the placement process were first-time recruiters.

National Institute of Design has various campuses in cities such as Gandhinagar, Ahemdabad, and Bengaluru and others. Recently, NID in the states of Haryana, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh has been declared as Institutes of National Importance after a Bill had been passed in Rajya Sabha on August 6, 2019. This provides institutes with the autonomy to grant degrees and diplomas and to introduce new courses.
