NIIT Launches Big Data Analysis Program at IIM Calcutta

Here is a good news for the students of IIM Calcutta as NIIT will launch a fresh batch of an advanced program relating to data science for the skill development of the students.

The programme will be conducted under NIIT’s Training wing. It is a multi-modal learning platform and has been launched to provide a better career opportunity in the field of data analysis.
The program will be conducted through a combination of offline and online modules. The classes for the first batch is expected to commence from March 2017.
NIIT offers multi-disciplinary learning management as well as training delivery solutions not only to institutions, individuals in India but also different parts of Europe, America and Asia Pacific regions.

NIIT, an education sector company has been engaged in skill and talent development over the years. This is not for the first time NIIT has engaged in big data training programme.
On 9th Janaiaury 2017, NIIT started its biggest big data talent training base at Guiyang in China for working professionals, university graduates and government employees. The centre will also provide help to government employees to hone their skill in digital technology.
Under this training programme, NIIT aims to train around 2000 candidates every year and expects several million of rupees of revenues. In 2016, it entered into strategic agreements – with Guizhou Professional College of Electronics and Guiyang Municipal Government. The flagship training programme will run under the model of public-private partnership. The centre was inaugurated by Rahul Patwardhan, CEO, NIIT Ltd and the Vice Mayor of Guiyang.
