Nine New Courses to be introduced by Jamia this Academic Session

Jamia Millia Islamia would be introducing nine new courses from this academic session onwards. These courses would be in Arab-Islamic culture, Chinese Language and Social Inclusion and Inclusive Policy among others.

The university spokesperson stated,” "Jamia is introducing nine new courses from the 2016-17 academic session including- MA Politics, International and Area Studies, MA Arab-Islamic Culture, MTech Computer Engineering, MTech Electronics and Communication Engineering, MA Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy."

He further added,” "The other new courses include Certificate in Chinese Language (Part-time), Diploma in Chinese Language (Part-time) Intensive Diploma in Chinese Language and BA LLB (Hons) (self-financed)."

There would be a common entrance examination for admission to diploma courses (Regular and Self-Financed) of University Polytechnic, Faculty of Engineering and Technology.

The spokesperson further stated,” "Besides, the new courses the BA with Computer Application (BACA) course has been merged with BA Programme and its total intake has been increased to 65."

Applications are invited by the University for admission to its various undergraduate, post graduate and diploma/certificate programmes through online mode. The last date by which the application needs to be made is April 21.

In addition the university has introduced a helpline while keeping in mind the problems faced by the students while filling the applications.
