NIRF Research Rankings 2022 |
Established in 2015, the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) promotes competition for excellence amongst government-run institutions for higher education by ranking these institutes under five factors. These factors are (i) Teaching, Learning, & Resources, (ii) Research and Professional Practice, (iii) Graduation Outcomes, (iv) Outreach and Inclusivity, and (v) Peer Perception. Before NIRF, these rankings were conducted by private organizations and until 2018, participation in NIRF was voluntary but since then, NIRF rankings have become mandatory for all government-aided institutes.
