The Government of India releases the NIRF Rankings 2024 to highlight the top institutions and their performance. According to last year's data, seven engineering colleges from Delhi were featured in the Top 100 NIRF rankings. Among them, IIT Delhi achieved the highest position for the city, securing the 2nd spot nationally. The NIRF rankings are compiled based on a range of criteria, including faculty-student ratio, research output, patents, student employability, and overall institutional reputation.
