NIT Patna Placements: Student Abhishek Kumar bags a package of 1.8 cr at Amazon

NEW DELHI: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna student, Abhishek Kumar, has been recruited by Amazon with the highest ever package this year. As per the official report, Abhishek has bagged a package of 1.8 crore per annum. Kumar broke the record of Aditi Tiwari who was hired previously by Facebook with an yearly package of 1.6 crore per annum. In Spite of COVID 19 outbreak, NIT Patna created a history not only with this record breaking recruitment, but also this institute stood at 130% placement this year.
This is also for the first time for Amazon too, that it hired from NIT Patna for any international process. Abhishek was brought up from Jhajha. Being a student of Computer Science background, he appeared for the coding text last year on December 14, 2021. After that, his final selection was done on April 21, 2022. In between these tenures, he sat for three different rounds of one hour selection interviews.The interviews were scheduled on April 13, 2022. In the selection round, the experts from Ireland and Germany took the interview. Abhishek stated that he impressed the panel members with his project on Blockchain and also with his coding speed in the interview round.
NIT Patna student hired by Facebook with Rs 1.6 Crore yearly package
Being a student of Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Aditi Tiwari received a job offer at the Front End Engineer position, Facebook (now Meta). Bihar Foundation, an initiative of Bihar Government for acknowledging interaction between the State and Diaspora, tweeted this news.
Before Aditi Tiwari, Sampreeti Yadav, Patna added the feather of fetching the highest package. She was paid Rs 1.11 Crore by Google then. Patna students have been constantly showing their excellence in international level.
The Covid 19 outbreak had put an excessive pressure on the Graduates in the past two years, since the campus recruitment was completely shattered that time. Nonetheless, the current situation is a bit under control and the NIT Patna placements are gradually being returned to the pre-covid levels.
