NIT Patna to increase faculty staff

National Institute of Patna is soon going to have more faculty members. The applications for several posts of faculty had been invited. The interview for the faculty posts have been conducted on 26th and 28th March 2016.

It is noteworthy that the institute was facing faculty crunch in the recent times. There was a considerable shortage in the computer science engineering, electrical engineering. Faculty in engineering and mechanical engineering and civil engineering were also needed.

A total of 20 applicants were interviewed for the faculty posts in computer science stream, also 20 applicants were interviewed in the electrical department, 18 in electronics, 5 in civil, and 11 applicants were interviewed for the faculty posts in 11 streams.
