NEET UG 2022 Postponement issue has been active on social media for the past many weeks. Now, coming out in favour of the students, NSUI President has written to Shri Dharmendra Pradhan to postpone the exam.
NEET UG 2022 Postponement: Adding as one more voice raised in favour of the postponement of NEET UG 2022, the President of the National Students Union of India (NSUI), Neeraj Kundan, has written an official to the Union Education Minister of India, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, on June 26, 2022. A day later, he tweeted to inform the students regarding the same.
He has put forth five reasons in his letter while appealing that the examinations should not be started or ended in a hurry. The major reasons mentioned in the letter to Shri Dharmendra Pradhan include the delay in counselling of the previous academic session and the scheduling of JEE Main Session 2 and CUET in July 2022, which will be tough on students who belong to PCMB group. It has also been alleged that due to the delay in notices, the preparation time for NEET 2022 has been ‘reduced to a minimum’.

Although NTA acknowledged having received demands for postponement, it has not yet announced any change in the examination schedule.
Mainly through Twitter as their platform of choice, many students have been demanding NEET 2022 Postponement by arranging various trends such as #NTAdeferNEETUG, #MODIJIdeferNEETUG, or the more recent ones, #JUSTICEforNEETUG and #MODIJIextendNEETUG.
As the exam date nears, candidates are advised to converge their focus on studies only. In similar trends, postponement of NEET PG was also demanded this year yet the Supreme Court ruled out the plea and students complained to have lost their already scarce time in the postponement fiasco. For now, NEET UG 2022 will be conducted on July 17, 2022.
