NTA Exam Calendar 2023 to be Released Soon: JEE Main, NEET, CUET Dates to be available at nta.ac.in
An NTA official updated that the JEE Main exams will be conducted between mid-January and April whereas the CUET UG exam is supposed to be held between the third week of April and the first week of May.
NTA Exam Calendar 2023: Government plans to establish a fixed calendar for undergraduate admission tests starting in 2023 so that competition is streamlined and last-minute confusion is avoided. The tests include the JEE Main, NEET and CUET. A new exam schedule is expected to be announced by the second week of December for admission to engineering, medical and undergraduate colleges by the ministry of education.
JEE Main January 2023 exam date is also expected to be released this week from the National Testing Agency (NTA), which delayed the notification. As per a few sources, University Grants Commission is working on a fixed exam calendar so that the schedule of CUET 2023 is also streamlined. It has been said by the officials that a fixed calendar will help aspirants prepare well for the exam. The schedule of the national-level exams was disrupted by Covid- 19.
An official said that the JEE Main 2023 is expected to be conducted between mid-January and April whereas the CUET UG exam is supposed to be held between the third week of April and the first week of May. As usual, NEET UG is going to be held on the first Sunday of May. The exact dates will be published soon before the exam. The probable period of the application process is going to be announced soon.
The two national-level entrance exams, NEET-UG and JEE-Main, should be conducted in April and May and the medical entrance test should be held in June, according to some JEE (Main) and NEET-UG aspirants.
On this, the official says that if JEE Main is conducted in the month of April then the students who are going to take all three exams will be preparing back-to-back without any gaps. Furthermore, it gives the candidate an opportunity to improve, as well as provides some preparation time in case he/she is unable to take the exam once due to a variety of reasons.
The notification of JEE Main is expected in the month of January whereas, for the other exams, the notification is likely to be released in the month of March and April.
