NTA Receives Fresh Requests to Postpone NEET 2022

NTA did not do any justice regarding the NEET UG exam postponement 2022, even after receiving multiple requests. Hence, #JusticeForNEETUG a fresh trend on Twitter has been started. Read below.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has received a fresh request and representations from the candidates with a demand of delaying NEET UG, which is scheduled to be held on July 17, 2022. Students appealed for the NEET UG exam postponement of approximately 30 days to 45 days. Under the Right to Information (RTI) Act, NTA replied that no further date changes will be made.

On Saturday, approximately 1.41 lakhs retweets had been made with the hashtag of #JusticeForNEETUG and it was trending on Twitter.

In this regard, @tara_suzu tweeted that if the authorities will take a decision in favour of the postponement of NEET UG 2022 exam by 20 days, then it will also be good for preparation. At least something is better than nothing.

Similarly, @Postpone_ug_pg wrote with the hashtag #NEETUG2022 that candidates' concerns have reached the competent authorities. Though the candidates are still studying, the well-wishers continuously push the authorities to postpone the exam.

Apart from Twitter, the candidates also commented on the social media platforms like Instagram and YouTube.

Another aspirant, Neha Kumari wrote that they have neither option unless they accept the NTA’s decision. The authorities never try to understand the medical aspirants problem. NTA is biased towards the JEE Main candidates and in turn, it was reflected in the delay of JEE exam. Kumari also added that NTA also gave preferences to the candidates to attempt the JEE exam more than one time (if the students want).

Out of frustration, “One Man” mentioned on social media that the upcoming candidates should rethink their career selection. The juniors need to choose Biology in 11th standard. However, if they choose Biology in class 11, then they do not want to shine in the Medical field in future. This comment has been found in the YouTube comment section, under a relevant post.

On the other hand, Priya Sisodia did not lose her hope in favour of the NEET UG exam postponement. She wrote that the JEE Main 2022 exam got postponed just a few days before the scheduled exam date, hence, there is a thin line of hope of delaying the NEET UG exam postponement.

Another Twitter hashtag #PleaseDelayNEETUG was raised by many candidates. One student shared a photo, comparing the NEET UG exam dates of 2021 and 2022. He also added a comment like in 2021, the NEET UG exam was scheduled for September 12 and this year, it will be held on July 17, 2022. Hence, it is clearly evident that the droppers are not even getting 10 months time for preparation.
