Odisha +3 Admission 2023: Freeze, Float and Slide after First Selection List with Institutions

Odisha +3 Admission 2023: The Student Academic Management System (SAMS) Odisha will release the provisional allotment of seats for first-round selection today, July 14, 2023 (2 PM). Candidates who will be selected in the first selection list are required to present the Intimation Letter as per the schedule notified by the Higher Education Department for Odisha +3 admissions in various colleges of Science, Commerce, and Arts along with Sanskrit colleges. Candidate’s selection of Slide/Freeze/Float option along with the online payment of admission fees will be conducted from July 14 to July 18, 2023. Odisha +3 Admission 2023: Freeze, Float and Slide after First Selection List with Institutions

Following are the instructions given by authorities regarding the selection of options after the release of the first provisional selection list for Odisha +3 Admission 2023. 

• Candidates whose name is listed in the first selection list have to choose one of the options i.e, Freeze, Float, or Slide as per their choices along with that they need to pay the admission fee.
• If a candidate opts ‘Float’ option it means they accept the allotted seat but wishes for a better programme.
• If a candidate opts ‘Freeze’ option it means that they accept the allotted seat and don't want to participate in the subsequent Odisha +3 counselling rounds.
• If a candidate opts ‘Slide’ option it means that they accept the allotted seat but want a different course in the same institute in which the previous programme was allotted.
• Those selecting a slide option can see the Float and Freeze options in further rounds of counselling.
• Those candidates who will be allotted seats in the first round have to compulsorily accept the seat by opting for any of the options by making the payment for the same.
• Those opting for the 'Freeze' option have to produce the required certificates for verification at the Destination HEI without fail.
• During each round, it is essential to select any one of these options to remain in the process of counselling, otherwise, if no option is selected then the previous option will continue till the final allotment round.
