The government of Odisha has implemented a slew of reforms in the college examination process. Now, the revised admission process is easier than earlier. These changes will come into effect from the academic session 2018-19. The new reforms in the examination process will be a sigh of relief to the Plus III aspirants in Odisha.
New Reforms in Odisha College Examination Process:
- From this year, Plus III students need not fill up a separate form for semester examinations for each semester. It is mandatory for the students to submit all the necessary details while taking the admission. The college authorities will automatically include the details of candidates, the name of the course and name of the papers in the examination form.
- Starting from this academic session, students need not pay separate exam fee for each semester. It is mandatory for the students to pay exam fee for all the six semesters at the time of admission.
- Plus III colleges in Odisha will provide only one admit card for the semester exams. Earlier, the colleges used to provide admit card for all six semesters. This year, the admit card that will be provided to the candidates for the Semester I, will be sued for subsequent semesters too.
- Autonomous colleges can accept ID Cards of students for the Semester exams.
- The colleges should not allow guest faculty to evaluate the answer scripts of students. Only those faculty members with two years of experience are allowed to evaluate the papers.
- The colleges must upload the attendance sheet of the students on their official websites every month.
