Over 97,000 Students Sign Online Petition to CBSE for Lenient Marking in Physics Exam
With the exam conducted on March 2nd, over 97,000 of the petition was signed online until March 04. Moreover, the students are also taking the petition viral on twitter, with appealing to the board using #CBSE.

As per the petition signed by the students, the CBSE board has been requested to be liberal with the marking of papers as the difficulty level of the paper left many students disappointed. Students also appealed that several of the questions in the paper was tricky and it was not fair for CBSE board to allocated such less time for the preparation of the paper. The petition also mentioned that it is not fair that the previous batches had moderation policy and the former batch will have a reduction in the syllabus.

As per the CBSE Physics Paper Analysis done by Collegedekho, it was earlier specified that the level of difficulty for this year’s Physics paper was more as compared to the previous year. This year, CBSE had also changed the exam pattern and the one mark questions for 20 questions were quite difficult for the students. As per the reviews of the students, they expected one mark questions to be easier as this was the first time paper included such types of questions in the paper pattern.
