OP Jindal Global University Students to Visit Wharton School for Studies
Students of OP Jindal Global University will be visiting the Ivy League Business School at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School. The students will be travelling to Wharton School to study entrepreneurship and technology innovation.
OP Jindal Global University is all set to mark its 10th anniversary this year. To commemorate the celebration, the varsity has joined hands with the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School with the motive of providing the students with an opportunity to grow.
An agreement was signed between the two educational institutions, wherein 55 students from different departments of OP Jindal Global University will visit the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Among the departments of Jindal Global University, students from the Business School, School of Business and Finance, Law School School of Liberal Arts and Humanities. These students will be representing the varsity at the Aresty Institute of Executive Education. The students will be visiting Wharton School in the summer of 2020.
The programme, “Business, Finance and Entrepreneurship for Leaders of Tomorrow” will be conducted at Wharton. There are four different modules that will be covered under the programme. These include “Managing and Marketing for Start-ups”, “Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation”, “International Banking and Financial Markets”, “Global Business Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions”.
The programme is a certificate programme, hence, at the end of the programme, the students will receive a certificate. Students will be guided and given lectures on the topics by the world-renowned faculty members of business and finance at The Wharton School.
Professor Raj Kumar stated that this opportunity to visit an Ivy League Business School will be a lifetime experience for the students. Professor Jagmohan S Raju who is the Vice Dean of Executive Education at Wharton stated that through the programme they will be able to contribute to their mission of educating the global leaders. Furthermore, with the advancement in technology and globalisation as well as the consistent changes taking place in the world, makes business and management a demanding and an exciting field.

Officials from both the institutions state that the programme will help the students develop their knowledge and skills in the field of business and finance. Further stating that the programme will provide the students with the needed skills and knowledge to combat the different situations, challenges and the dynamic workplace requirements of the world.
