According to a recent survey, one in four students from IIT-Bombay's graduating batch of 2014 sees himself/herself as an entrepreneur five years down the line. 10 percent of the students said they want to work in the government or even join politics.
Among other students, 15 percent of the students also said they were clueless about about what they want to do five years after graduation. The survey also revealed that 40 percent of the students wished to move to the US after graduating while 35 percent wanted to work in India.
“Entrepreneurship is the current flavor which is why it is at the top of everybody's mind. The students are well-connected with their seniors and alumni and their ideas influence the current students to a great extent”, said Mohak Mehta who graduated this year from IIT-Bombay.
