Over 11,000 DU Admissions Done, 6 Times More than Last Year
- Close to 11,000 students have secured admission in Delhi University courses basis the first cutoff list which concluded on 21st June 2018.
- The numbers have increased significantly (almost 6 times) as compared to previous years.
Delhi University has successfully concluded the admissions for UG courses on the basis of DU first cut-off on June 21, 2018. As per the official information disclosed by the officials of DU, close to 11,000 students cleared the first cut-off and secured admission in Delhi University undergraduate courses. The total number of colleges affiliated to DU offers 56,000 seats in UG courses out of which 11,000 have been filled.
Contrary to this, surprisingly, only 2,000 students had secured admission on the basis of first cut-off last year. Even though DU first cut-off is six times higher than the previous year cut-off, the number of students clearing the same has increased significantly.

DU second cut-off list is expected to be out on June 24, 2018. The admissions under the first cut-off list went on smoothly on the second day. The first day of the UG admissions was hit by a technical glitch when students faced difficulty in applying to colleges. The online admission portal of DU has been restored within few hours after receiving the complaints.
