Haryana CET 2022: The Haryana CET 2022 exam is to be conducted on November 5 & 6 for the recruitment of Grade C and Grade D posts. An estimated 11,36,894 candidates have registered for the Haryana Common Eligibility Test (CET) that is conducted by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) but reportedly, only 10.78 lakh aspirants are to appear for the state-level exam.

Bhopal Singh Khadri, Chairman, Haryana Staff Selection Commission, on Thursday, stated that during the scrutiny of applicants, some incomplete and duplicate forms were found, following which the total number of candidates appearing for the Haryana CET 2022 exam stood at 10.78 lakh. To accommodate aspirants, as many as 1,200 exam centres have been set up in 17 districts across the state, including Chandigarh.

Haryana CET 2022 Recruitment for Grade C & Grade D Posts

Through the Haryana CET 2022 recruitment drive, 22,000 candidates will be appointed for Grade D posts, which include Chowkidars, Peons, Cooks, and others under various government departments. However, to appoint eligible candidates for Grade C posts, the Commission will conduct a screening test once the HCET 2022 written exam is concluded. Around 40,000 candidates will be hired for the posts of Clerks, Police Constables, Drivers, Accountants, Excise, Taxation Department Inspectors, Gram Sachivs, Patwaris, and so on.

The Haryana Common Eligibility Test will be conducted offline (pen and paper mode) in four shifts. Each shift will see an estimated 2.80 lakh candidates appearing on average. Of the 11.36 lakh aspirants, reportedly, 4.38 lakh are female and 6.38 lakhs are male candidates. Around 9,700 candidates taking the HCET 2022 exam belong to the PwD category.

Haryana CET 2022 Admit card

The Haryana CET 2022 admit card is available on the official website – www.hssc.gov.in. In case of any difficulty downloading the hall ticket, candidates can call on the HSSC toll-free number – 1800 572 8997.

Sanjeev Kaushal, Haryana Chief Secretary, stated that the application fee of some candidates has been verified but the status has not been registered in the database due to some technical glitch.  In such cases, candidates need not worry since separate arrangements for provisional admit cards will be made at the exam centre. However, candidates must be carrying valid ID proof and other relevant documents for the verification process.
