Panjab University to Conduct Lateral Engineering Entrance Exam on 2nd July
- The Panjab University is going to conduct Lateral Engineering Entrance Test (PULEET) 2017 on July 2.
- The last date to submit the application form on the website is June 14.
- The Admit Card will be available on the website after June 27.
Panjab University is going to conduct Lateral Engineering Entrance Test (PULEET) 2017 on July 2. Through this examination, the candidates will be able to seek admission in 2nd year B.E. Courses for the academic session 2017-18 at Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology (CCET).
The total intake under PULEET is 48. Out of these, 41 seats are reserved for the state quota while 7 seats will be filled based on the all India merit list.
The Application form for the same has been made available online on the official website of Panjab University from 16 May 2017. The last date to submit the application form on the website for generating the bank challan is 14 June. Detailed instructions for submission of online entrance test form are available on the Panjab University website.

The entrance test will consist of multiple-choice questions of total 75 marks. Each question carries 1 mark. There shall be a negative marking also according to which ¼ marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Steps to apply:
Phase I
Go through the eligibility norms carefully before applying.
Enter all the required details.
On submitting the form, the candidate will be provided with a unique application number.
Note down the login id, password and application number.
Download the bank slip and deposit the application fee in any branch of SBI.
The application fee for PULEET entrance exam is Rs. 2100. The candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ PwD will have to pay Rs. 1050. This fee is non-refundable. The last date to make payment is 16 June 2017.
Phase II
- After depositing the application fee, login and click on the complete link displayed.
Upload your scanned signature, photograph and fill other important information required.
Save and lock your application form after cross checking all the details filled.
Note that in any case, an incomplete and unlocked form will not be considered.
Download and take the printout of the application form.
The last date for completion of phase II is 18 June 2017.

The Admit Card will be available after 27 June 2017. Applicants must note that clearing this entrance exam will not assure admission in the course. The candidates will have to meet the eligibility criteria for the course and submit an admission form. The result of this exam will be published on the official result portal of the University.
