Teachers, students and parents, all have accepted Central Board of Secondary Education’s recent decision regarding uploading marks of external as well as internal Class 12 exams on the net and have welcomed the change with a smile. Earlier the marks were sent via post to the students, this decision has made it easy for students, parents, teachers and school as now they don't have to wait at the doorstep to know the result.
Principal, St John’s High School, Kavita C Das said, “It will definitely be helpful for students, especially for those who are applying abroad and are short of time. They can download it from the website and get school’s stamp on it.” The Gurukul, Panchkula, principal Harsimran Kaur said, “I think the move definitely needs to be appreciated as it won’t delay things unnecessarily and is a mark of digitalisation.”
CBSE regional director RJ Khanderao “It will help bring transparency and accountability. It is a noble initiative by the board.”
“It has indeed reduced the load, besides taking care of transfer and clerical errors in manual submissions. Things are slowly becoming more and more streamlined,” said Reema Dewan, principal, Delhi Public School, Chandigarh.
The decision of CBSE is not only going hand in hand with technology, but is also eco- friendly, reducing alot of paoerwork. The idea saves paper, time and energy and thus benefits many at once.
