All TS Entrance Exams Postponed, Telangana High Court orders Postponement of TS Entrance Exams 2020
A PIL has been filed in TS High Court seeking the postponement of entrance exams. All entrance exams in Telangana such as TS EAMCET, ECET, PGECET, POLYCET, LAWCET, ICET and EDCET have been postponed.
All the entrance exams in Telangana have been postponed as per the order of the high court. The government has postponed the exams, and the revised schedule for the same will be notified later.
All TS (Telangana) Entrance Exams Postponed
The High Court has taken up the hearing on June 30, 2020. The court felt that the entrance exams must not be conducted when a lockdown is being imposed in the state and it is not the right time to conduct the exams considering students safety.
What Happened before June 30, 2020?
The government of Telangana has filed a counter stating that the state government would conduct entrance exams with all the safety measures. At the same time, conducting entrance exams is mandatory, and cancellation or postponement of the same will affect the admissions and academic session.
There is still uncertainty over the entrance exams that are scheduled to be conducted in Telangana from July 01, 2020. TS POLYCET and TS PGECET are the first entrance exams that are scheduled to be conducted from July 01, 2020. However, a PIL has been filed in Telangana High Court seeking the postponement of the entrance exams. On the other hand, TS EAMCET Hall Ticket 2020, which was supposed to be released on June 30, 2020, has been postponed by a day. Now, the hall ticket will be out on July 01, 2020.
Recently, TSCHE clarified that most students and parents want the government to conduct entrance exams. In all probability, the entrance exams will be conducted as per schedule.
