Placement Drive at Nirmala Pharmacy College

Reputed Pharma Company Abaz Pharmaceuticals Private Limited conducted a placement drive at Nirmala Pharmacy College, Mangalagiri, Guntur District on 13-May-2016. The placement drive was conducted for the final year pharmacy students of Guntur district. The placement drive was inaugurated by the college principal, Abdul Rehman. The company officials gave introduction about the company and explained the process of interview.

Three rounds of interview were conducted which included, a preliminary written test, group discussion and a personal interview. The placement drive received a good response as a total number of 90 students from 6 pharmacy colleges participated in the placement drive. Out of them 42 students qualified the written test.

Finally 10 students got selected in the final round. The company officials congratulated the students and gave them their offer letters. The students are selected for the position of Nutrition Executive officer at an annual package of Rs. 3,60,000. One student from Nirmala Pharmacy College has been selected in the placement drive.

College principal, Abdul Rahman said, “The college management has decided to conduct off campus placement drive inorder to provide employment opportunities for the pharmacy students who are studying in rural areas. The college has a good placement percentage and the college has been recording 100% Pass percentage for the past two years”.
