Pondicherry University Comes Up with an App for its Distance Learning Programme

Here is a good news for students studying distance education programmes from Pondicherry University. The University has launched an app for direct delivery of courses. Through the app, course contents of MBA can be sent on laptops and mobile phones.

Pondicherry University has launched select programmes through the Android app to help professionals and students of the tier-II and III cities. The university says that around 2,500 students have already enrolled under the new initiative.
For online courses, students of the university can download the Android application from the Avagmah Technology Platform.
Sibnath Deb, Director, Distance Education, Pondicherry University, said that the University has endeavoured to reach out to the people with quality education by accommodating technology through this initiative, especially those in the remote areas. Otherwise, they would have no access to good education.

Even professionals who are unable to attend classes can take advantage of the App.
