Poweric Conducted Placement Drive at KITS

Reputed Chennai based company Poweric conducted placement drive at KITS Engineering college on 4-May-2016. Company HR was welcomed in a delightful manner by the college management and students. The placement drive was inaugurated by the college chairman, K.Subbarao. Company HR Manger gave an introduction about the company and explained the process of interview. The interviews were conducted for the final year students of Electronics department.

Three rounds of interview were conducted which included a preliminary written test, technical round and face to face interview. The placement drive received a good response as a total number of 46 students participated in the placement drive. Only 8 students were selected in the final round of interview. The HR manager congratulated the students and gave them the offer letters. The selected students are offered an annual package of Rs.2, 00,000. HR Manager appreciated the college management for maintaining such good academic standards.

College chairman, K.Subbarao said, “The College has reached a mile stone by assuring maximum placements in the academic year 2015-2016. A total number of 324 students got placed in the campus placements which were conducted in the current academic year. The college not only focuses on academics but also inculcates research attitude among the students. Students of the college participated in various competitions and seminars and brought laurels to the college”. He congratulated the students.

Students thanked the college management for being supportive.
