PSCMRCET, Vijayawada Organises an Interaction on Career Development
On this occasion, meritorious students who hail from economically backward sections were provided with laptops and dresses which were sponsored by Venkateswara Rao, Treasurer and the Committee members of the college.
The management of Potti Sriramulu Chalavadi Mallikarjuna Rao College of Engineering and Technology, Vijayawada organised an interaction on career development on November 14, 2016. Oommen Cherian, Vice President of Cloud Service, interacted with the students and guided them to choose a right career.
He exhorted that the students can achieve goals through systematic hard work. He elaborated valuable tips to students on shaping their career. Students shall possess analytical and communication skills and must cultivate the attitude of service to achieve success. Currently, around five lakh students are being trained by various organisations across India.

Srinivas Pochiraju, Senior Director Management of Oracle Cloud Services further explained in detail about the recruitment process and also the different products of Oracle. He stated that Oracle started its services in India in the year 2005 and has been progressing very rapidly due to the availability of infrastructure facilities it possesses.
Later, the students participated actively in the interaction with Oracle Group. They posed various questions and doubts regarding career options in Oracle.

Chairman of the College, Mallikarjuna Rao thanked the Oracle Group for giving an opportunity to the students to participate in the interaction. He advised the students to update themselves in the technological advancements so that they become industry fit.
