Tie-Breaking Policy for Rajasthan B.Tech REAP Merit List 2023:
In order to allocate each candidate with a unique rank despite them scoring the exact same percentile in the exam, the following tie-breaking criteria is used:- As JEE Main ranks are used, REAP will only determine the ranks of the candidates who have 20 or less than 20 percentile in JEE Main. For the rest of the candidates, their JEE Main rank will be used to determine their REAP 2023 merit list rank.
- For the candidates who applied on the basis of their class 12 marks and the Diploma holders, their percentile score will be calculated and the candidate with a higher percentile will be given a higher rank.
- Wherever the class 12/diploma percentile marks (as calculated by REAP) are at a tie, the candidate who is older in age will be given a higher rank.
