Government of Rajasthan to Lay Down Guidelines for Setting Up Technical Institutes
The State Government Assembly is planning to introduce new reformative guidelines on the establishment and course conduction of technical institutes in Rajasthan.
The Rajasthan State government Assembly has stated on Monday, 22nd July, that the state is about to introduce guidelines and frameworks to establish Technical colleges in Rajasthan. A policy regarding this is expected soon from the state government.
While the question hour was in run, Mr Subhash Garg, state minister for technical education has informed that as of now, there is no policy to determine the guidelines which have to be followed while setting up a technical college in Rajasthan. He shed light on the fact that there is not much difference between the fees charged in government and private colleges in the state. The minister informed the assembly house that currently, the government institutes charge around 60,000 rupees per year and the private institutes charge 70,000.

In the current scenario, the establishment of a technical college in Rajasthan does not depend on the policies but the financial availability to set up an institute. The policy will expectedly bring reforms in the sector of technical education development and conduction.

Recently, the Government of Rajasthan has taken up initiatives to reform the whole education systems by introducing new daily life-oriented courses. It has recently decided to raise awareness about the crimes against women in schools by introducing new curriculums and chapters.
