Rajasthan Government: More Jobs, Scooty for Class 12 Girl Toppers
- Chief Minister of Vasundhara Raje announced State Budget 2018 on February 12, 2018.

Delivering the budget speech, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje announced the government will give scooty to top 2,000 girls securing more than 85% in Class 12 board exams. The state government will also take steps to fill more than 1.08 lakh vacant posts this year.

Major Highlights of Rajasthan Education Budget 2018: -
- The Education Budget 2018 also promises new agricultural universities in Kota and Alwar.
- The government will issue notification for the recruitment of 2,000 forest guards, 500 foresters, 1,161 constables, 1,000 nursing training teachers for child development projects and 2,000 patwaris.
- The government will provide employment subsidy of Rs. 5,000 to industries that give priority to the bonafide residents of Rajasthan.
- Enterprises in backward and most backward areas will be provided with a subsidy of Rs. 45,000 for providing employment to the bonafide residents of Rajasthan.
- With an aim to make youth fit for employment, the state government will launch skill training scheme. A sum of Rs. 15 crores has been allocated in the state budget for entrepreneurship development.
- The government will make 22,250 seats available in state-run Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) at an estimated cost of Rs. 28 crore. Skill training will be provided to unemployed youth in these institutes.
- The state government will also provide technical training to 4,000 women in 12 professions at 24 ITIs across the state. The government has allocated a sum of Rs. 23 crore for this project.
- Vacant Grade II nurse and female health workers posts will be filled this year.
- The government is also planning to add 3,379 classrooms and construct toilets in 1,163 Adarsh schools.
- The notification for filling up 75,000 posts will be issued in the next fiscal year.
